mariobets sells football intelligence. It takes no bets and handles no money. Its subject, though, is the prices of football bets, and some of the people who read them bet elsewhere. This page explains how we keep information as information, which tools mariobets gives you, and where to find free, confidential help in each country.
1. Our commitments
- mariobets is for adults only: you must be 18 or older.
- We never invite you to bet: no offers, no links to bookmakers, no urgency, no suggested stakes on public prices.
- The accumulator calculator of the Predictions (Pronostici) section, where it is offered, is the only place that works out stakes on selections taken from our data: from a budget you enter, it shows one accumulator and the same predictions as singles, with the budget divided equally. It needs a weekly limit and never works with more than 100 euros a week. The site's other calculators work only on the numbers you type in.
- Data-based predictions are probabilities, never certainties. We say what the stars do not do (they rank how likely an outcome is, not whether a bet is worth making) and we publish their record, losses included.
- We explain margins, probabilities and uncertainty, and we show the evidence — including when it shows how hard it is to do better than the market.
- Past results are always presented as past results, never as promises.
- My record and your well-being settings are never sold, never shared with bookmakers and never used for marketing; other members see only the entries you share, and only if your profile is public.
2. Keeping betting in its place
- Decide beforehand how much money and how much time you can afford to spend, and stop when you reach either limit.
- Betting is not a way to earn money or to solve money problems. Every price includes a margin, so a person who bets regularly loses money on average over time.
- Never chase losses: a loss is not something to recover with the next bet.
- Never borrow money to bet.
- Take regular breaks, and do not bet when you feel stressed or low, or after drinking alcohol.
- Be wary of anyone who sells certainty: in football, nobody can offer it.
3. Tools in mariobets
- Take a break: in Profile you can start a break of 1, 7, 30, 90 or 180 days. Once started, it cannot be shortened. During a break you cannot log new bets or give new forecasts in the forecast lab, and your price alerts and market-signal notifications are paused; the weekly recap and the closing-price notice are paused during a break too. The Predictions (Pronostici) section and its accumulator calculator are hidden for the whole break (their record stays readable); everything else you can read stays available.
- Weekly limit: set a limit on how much you stake in a week, and mariobets shows how much of it you have used, counting the stakes you logged in My record since Monday. A stricter limit applies immediately; a higher limit, or removing it, takes effect after 24 hours — so a bad moment cannot undo a good decision. The accumulator calculator works only once you have set this limit: the budgets you enter in it count against it together with the stakes you log (several attempts within 30 minutes count once, at the largest budget), and never beyond 100 euros a week. We cannot see what you actually bet with a bookmaker, and we say so next to the calculator.
- In the Predictions (Pronostici) section and its accumulator calculator: an 18+ line, the helpline and self-exclusion scheme of your country (in Italy, the ADM register), how much of your weekly limit you have used, kickoff times only (no countdowns, no "hot" labels), and nothing that changes after a loss.
- Private by default: nobody sees your activity unless you choose to make your profile public, and you can make it private again at any time.
- Delete your account: at any time, in Profile.
Because no money passes through mariobets, these tools cannot stop you betting with a bookmaker. To do that, use your country's national self-exclusion scheme (section 6) and the limits your bookmaker offers.
4. Signs that it may be time to talk to someone
- You bet more than you can afford, or for longer than you planned.
- You keep betting to recover money you lost.
- You borrow money, or sell things, to bet.
- You hide your betting from the people close to you.
- You bet to escape worries, stress or a low mood.
- You feel anxious or irritable when you try to bet less, or you cannot stop.
If any of this sounds familiar, talking to someone helps. The services below are free or cost a normal call, they are confidential, and many accept calls from family and friends too.

6. National self-exclusion: one request, every licensed operator
In many countries a single request to the national register excludes you from every licensed gambling operator there — online and, in some countries, in shops, gaming halls and casinos too. This is the step that stops betting with bookmakers; a break in mariobets cannot do it. Each link below goes to the scheme's own page on the regulator's site (or the official site of the scheme), where the request is made or explained. The same links are in the site footer and in Profile › Well-being.

Where your country is not listed, your bookmaker must still let you exclude yourself from its own site, and the services in section 5 can tell you what else is available where you live. Each page above was opened and read on 12 October 2026; the schemes' own pages have the current rules.
7. If you are worried about someone else
Most of the services above also help family and friends. Gam-Anon groups (in several countries) and Gambling Therapy offer support dedicated to the people close to someone who gambles.
8. In an emergency
If you or someone else is in danger, call the emergency number 112, which works across the European Union, in the United Kingdom and in Switzerland.
